Taco Franchise Training
Franchisees participate in a comprehensive training program conducted at one of our corporate restaurants for the Operating Principal and District Manager or Restaurant Manager roles. Our initial training details how to establish and operate an R Taco location, including all phases of restaurant opening and closing procedures, food preparation and presentation, pricing, customer service issues, employee training and relations, budgeting, purchasing, inventory control and disposition, comprehensive marketing and maintenance of quality standards. Training will last approximately 28 to 35 days.
After initial training, our taco franchise owners receive 10 days of onsite training, extending to grand opening assistance. Additionally, we provide ongoing training after a location’s grand opening.
Extensive support for our taco franchise owners begins with our Development Agreements and continues throughout the lifetime of these Agreements.
- Real estate/design/construction support: Support and criteria for targeted site selections, as well as specifications and consultations on building your R Taco restaurants.
- Grand opening and marketing support: Support to plan and execute grand opening marketing with assistance from our marketing team, as well as local marketing initiatives for your restaurants.
- Operations and ongoing support: Operational support provides access to pre-approved suppliers and national purchasing programs, as well as materials and manuals through our Intranet site. We also support guest-focused strategies and team member guidance.
